The New Mexico Procurement and Technical Assistance Program is offering workshops on government procurement techniques and tips for businesses.

They will be held at the Small Business Development Center, 2501 Yale SE, according to the PTAP web site.

The first day of the workshops will be Wednesday, Aug. 1. 

The first workshop, from 1-2:15 p.m. will be an overview of federal government certifications applicable to small-business owners. In the 2:30-4 p.m. seminar, business owners will be given an overview of the SBA’s 8(a) Program.
